Help with programming concept

Hi! Simple (maybe?) question for you programmers out there.

I have a strategy I am attempting to automate and I need some pointers on a thing or two.

Number 1:

-I want to take a trade when price action closes below (for shorts) or above (for longs) a certain line (indicator i am using). I want the system only to take a trade when the next bar after the signal bar (price action closes below or above is the signal bar) closes in the direction of signal bar.

Right now, have it set to CrossAbove or CrossBelow the certain indicator line... And thats not getting the results I want. I want it to only take a trade when price action closes above or below the certain indicator line.

Also, I am using the built in strategy builder for Ninjatrader, unless a helpful soul shows me how to do what I want done with the advanced programming strategy builder.

You'll receive the most help by posting enough information to make it easy for someone to help.

You should post the code you have so far, including the indicators it uses. If any of the indicators are Elite, please make sure you don't attach them here - just post the links to them instead.

Right now it is too hard to help without knowing a lot more info.
