NinjaTrader Trade Markers on Range Charts

Hi

I am new to ninjatrader and like trading off the range charts.
At the end of the day I like to write comments on my charts with the actual entries marked on the chart automatically. I noticed that for some reason, the entry arrow is about 3 to 4 bars BEFORE the actual entry.

This is kind of annoying and not sure why. Does anybody have any suggestions?

hi,
what creates your ENTRY - arrows ?
an indicator or are they SIM-order arrows ?
a picture would be helpful.

Hi Spencer,

I had a similar problem but mine were 1 bar earlier. After working with NT support and analyzing my executions, they determined it was my pc clock. I often enter right on the open and my pc clock was off 10 seconds so it'd show up a bar earlier.

My pc clock seems to lose 10-20 seconds per day and I'm not sure why.

Now I doubt that would throw it off 3-4 bars but you may want to synchronize your pc clock when you start trading..

Double click your chart, there is an option for it. set it to none.
