Upgrading to new NT7(1000.5) from 1000.2 and wanted to know if my futures.io (formerly BMT) downloads will migrate cleanly or do I have to redownload them and will they work. The CME products require the upgrade by June 3rd. Thanks for advice.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
My upgrade from NT7.0.100.2 to NT7.0.1000.5 on my two machines were seamlessly successful. Some DLLs on NT7.0.1000.2 even successfully compiled on NT7.0.1000.5. I'm currently missing just one protected indicator on my NT7.0.1000.5 which was on my NT7.01000.2; but it's OK.
It is quite easy if you follow this NT guide which I converted to pdf document format on my Mac.
I deleted my NT7 folder when doing the upgrade thinking that was part of an uninstall and lost all of my templates and workspaces. Just a warning for the forum. Thanks for your help.
Is updating to version 05 necessary or can we stay on version 04.
I updated to 05 and now I have issues with data loading. I've installed and uninstalled version 05 twice, reset DB and repaired DB and for some reason the Nymex CL charts won't load. Ive been able to get the ES, TF, GC etc to load, but not the CL charts. The machine with the problem is running XP. I have a second machine with Vista and it does not have the same issue. Is XP a problem.
I have XP on my machine and upgraded to NT 7.0.1000.5 from Beta v .2 with no problems. I trade CL as well as futures and SI (Silver). My computer is only an Intel Core 2 Duo, not the strongest or newest CPU in town. All my Custom indicators migrated as well. Maybe something corrupted during download and a new try will fix it.
