Thanks again,

apparently I am retarded, as when I back test this strategy none of my time conditions seem to work.

how much would you charge to help coach me to build this simple program. I would like to learn how to program rather than just pay for someone to build it for me and have no idea how it works.. i have almost finished reading C# for dummies and I understand the logic of most simple programs however I still cant script everything I want to do myself

thanks

euro, I'm afraid I'm just learning myself and get stymied very easily... one quick suggestion however is that you isolate what is causing problems.. maybe even comment out everything that isn't essential to that problem and then test each step in your logic by printing out results to the output window.. build up your code piece by piece knowing that one part works before adding in the next.
