@Alinghy,

did you read the instructions in this thread?

did you first install the gom mp (including gom recorder)? you can find the indicators here:

I strongly suggest to read those threads first before trying to install that indicator. I would also delete the 2 versions you downloaded and make sure you don't have any compiling errors. open any indicator in the editor and press f5.

then if you have installed the necessary gom package, the alto gom mp should be no problem to install.

@Alinghy,

If you have further questions or problems about Elite indicators such as these, please do not post in this thread. Instead, go back to the actual original Elite thread for the indicator and post there.

Mike

Cory,
The error message is an Import NinjaScript Archive File (.zip) Warning which reads "You have custom NinjaScript files on you PC that have programming errors. These errors must be resolved before you can import a NinjaScript Archive File."

After I remove VolumeStopV5 indicator I am able to import other indicators. I have no problem importing indicators in zip format but importing the cs format gives me problems.

I appreciate your willingness to share thank you for your help.

Dear Bermarti,

Have you found a solution for this problem? I'm facing the same problem, tried the solutions presented in the thread over the years but as soon as I've got the ALTOGomMP file in my folder I get the same message: 'You have custom NinjaScripts files that have programming errors'. When I delete the the ALTOGomMP the problem seems to be solved but I want the ALTOGomMP to be imported in NT. Could you assist me?

Thanks a lot!

VBX1

Hi VBX1,
That was a long time ago and I don't remember what I did to work around that problem. I no longer use Ninja charts and haven't used them for a long time. I believe that problem along with some others turned me off on them. I've been using Sierra Charts and have found them to be very light as far as programming and quite simple to use and maneuver around in them. I hope you find the solution to your problem.

Hi,
here an answer to a FAQ :

How to import a .cs- file into NT (indicator or strategy)

- open the .cs-file in windows editor -- you should see lot of text here.

- do in Ninja > Tools > Edit NinjaSript > Indicator --- and open one indicator - no matter wich one + delete ALL the text there

- now copy the whole text from the .cs-file into the indicator-file

- now - IMPORTANT - copy the indicators name from the file - you find it mostly between line 20 to 30 :

in example public class MaxDots007 : Indicator

Code

    ///

    ///
    ///

[Description("")]
    public class
MaxDots007 Indicator
- then rightklick + "save as" .... insert this name here + klick OK

- now compile the indicator ( F5 or compile-button)

-- DONE

that should work.
Have Fun!

any .cs files can be copied directly to following
My Documents/NinjaTrader 7/Bin/Custom/Indicator/XXXXX.cs

Now open NinjaTrader7 Right click and select Indicator you will find the added .cs file as indicator, Select and enjoy

OR
Login to NinjaTrader7 Control center/File/Utilities/NinjaScript you will get a open window browse your zip file (indicator file) it will ask you do you trust the file say yes ok, you will see imported sucessfully
