Hi,
I was directed here in the hopes that someone might be able to take the time to convert this MT4 indicator into a Ninjatrader7 indicator.

I'm a complete coding neophyte so wouldn't even have a clue where to start but I don't think it's too complex of an indi.
I would very much appreciate it if it's possible!

Thanks for checking it out.

Bryce

Could you post a chart and explain what the indicator displays and can be used for?

Hi FT,

The indicator displays the daily and weekly ATR in terms of a percentage. It displays 65% and 100% ATR for both the buy and sell side for both daily and weekly. Those are the key levels that I'm looking for. It also displays the daily and weekly ATR in the top left corner for the period chosen.

I hope that explains it ok.

Have a look at this indicator. It calculates bands from the average daily range (ADR), not the average true range (ATR). The result will be displayed in the upper left or upper right corner, including the current day's range.

The average daily range is calculated from two periods, for the chart I used 20 days and 100 days. For the lower target band, the ADR is subtracted from the current day's high, for the upper target band the ADR is added to the current day's low. When the daily target range is hit, the band maintains it width but is centered around today's midline.

The indicator is here:
