Another issue with Ichimoku, although it plots into the future, the future times do not show on X axis. Does anyone know how to fix this? Maybe it is just a setting on chart properties that needs to be corrected. I'm using ninjatrader.

Guys I found solution to this problem, so for those of you who may have the same problem: First off, do not increase right side margin in chart properties. Instead simply click on the chart and using your mouse scroll wheel walk the data backwards until you can see in the future as far as you need on the chart. This will plot the times for the future cloud on X axis.

Hope that helps.

If you use the indicator for live trades, it is more convenient to increase the right side margin and have the indicator plot within that margin.

Otherwise you need to adjust the position of the chart manually each time when a new bar has printed.

Notice in the image you posted that the indicator did not plot the times on X axis of the future cloud. This is what I want to fix. I believe I found a way to use those times to plan future trades, so I want to see the times plotted.

Hi Cory,
thank you very much for your support. I have inserted the cloud into my chart. See pic.

Senkou Span A and B line are not visible.

I would like to suggest to implement ICloud fully into your AaIChimokuNT7. This would complete this indicator set perfectly. What'd you think?

Thanks
Walter

I really like this indicator look, but unsure as to all info is telling me in upper left, also it mentions target bands etc. anyone working with this indi or is there a better nt version and thread on trading it> particularly interested to see if viable on the zb thanks

I am looking for an Ichimoku indicator that will plot the clouds in the future (beyond the latest candle) and also give me alerts.

I installed the AaIchimokuNT7 indicator and it has the alerts, but it does not plot the clouds in the future (beyond the latest candle).

I tried installing the versions below and changed the displacement to 26, but it did not help.

I downloaded the following version and it does plot the cloud into the future beyond the latest bar, but it does not have the alerts.

Has anyone corrected the AaIchimokuNT7 indicator so it will plot the clouds in the future (beyond the latest candle) or another Ichimoku version that has alerts?

Thank you

Thanks, this is really useful.
One problem I find with NinjaTrader 7 is the playback cannot be set to move forward with one bar. It would be useful to practice in playback but moving ahead w/ one bar at a time.

Hello to you all,

I have set up the AaIchimokuNT7 indicator following all your recommandations. However I don't understand how to read the strength display at the top left corner. Can someone help me with that?

thanks indeed,

Could you also tell us, which of the various Ichimoku Kinko Hyo indicators you have tried so far? Did you try this one as well?

Could this indicator be modified for use in the Market analyser to give the various alerts Please.

Hello All,

Can anyone explain how to read the generated table in the top left corner of the chart generated by the Aainchimoku indicator? I am using this overlayed with the ichimokuHL to get a complete chart but could not find this table documented anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mark
