Just wondering if there is a way to only allow one trade in a direction since a crossover had occurred?
Once that trade has completed, it would require the crossover to take place again before it would allow a trade to trigger again.

If you use CrossBelow and CrossAbove just specify the number of bars back it is allowed to occur.

Then evaluate for true.

Code

if (CrossAbove(myDataSeriesvaluetocrossabovebarsbacktoallow))
 Print(
"Yup we crossed above the value within the allowed bars");
else
 Print(
"Nope");
vast, if you have a specific idea for an indicator or strategy you may wish to consider hiring the work done then you can learn from the end result (code) and make future enhancements on your own. I've been suggesting this method for over a year including before I started offering my programming services for sale.

Thanks Mike.
At present it is only fiddling with ideas. Wether they are any good is another question.
Thanks for the idea/offer
