Not sure where these script files belong / references - .dll - trouble

I am getting a Script programming error when I try to load new indicators.
I have located the source (files) of these errors but not sure where they belong.

The error message is telling me the DLL files are " missing"

I have attached a screen shot of where these files are located

I just don't know here they belong ??

Please help

Thank you
greg

These files are commercial indicators (not the NijaTrader*), and are in the right place.
Did you make a fresh NT installation ?
Maybe you need some <right-click> -> <Add References>, when you are in a source file, ready to compile.

Are you suggesting that I reinstall Ninja T?

Not sure what you mean by the second part of your comment?

Thank you
Greg

If I understand Sam correctly, he suggest to open an NinjaScript file (through Tools --> Edit NinjaScript --> Indicator, and choosing *any* indicator). Then, right click in the new NinjaScript file, and choose References. Then you get an new window, in which you can Add references to DLL files. Please also see the attached screens.

The idea behind this "adding of references" is that NinjaTrader can't locate these DLL (which are probably used in some indicator that you have), and thus generates an error. Through this "adding of references" you can tell NinjaTrader where it can find those DLL's.

Good luck!

Thank you, Do you literally mean to open "ANY" file in the editor or the specific files That I am having problems with?
Because when I open the Ninja script editor I cannot locate the specific indicators in the list

Yes, that was the meaning ... the references will be used by anything NT needs it for. Likely the indicators arent compiled yet because the references arent there to finish the byte job!

Jon , Thank you for your help and patience. I'm not normally such a dummy but I'm still having problems with the references . Please see attached.

I'm not sure what step I'm missing or doing incorrectly

Too bad you still have these problems Grego. Just wondering, did you compile the NinjaScript after adding the references? (You can compile by pressing F5 in a NinjaScript window, or clicking the Compile button in the toolbar).

Good luck!

Hi Jura
I've just managed to get it sorted

The original DLL file sthat I was having problems with were showing up in the reference box, however the file location that they referenced were actually incorrect.

So I deleted them and re referenced the customm scripts to th ecorrect location

Thanks for your help
Regards
Greg
