can someone help to verify this entry signal?

is this DM setup1 Long signal 14.23 correct?
1st bar went above 20EMA at 14.20pm,
is the 5 bars count for setup bar complete only by 14.23's bar per Perry's rule?

The 5 bar count is not part of the entry setup signal, The count is to get the price at which to put your entry.

Your chart has much fewer signals then the original version of the indicator. How are you filtering your signals?

Well, the reason I answered is because I am the author... Just Perry's rules.

MWinfrey, may I ask you if there is one indicator for entries? If so, may I snag it?
TIA.

on the setup - i got the adx setup to 25-30 and it filters trades signals well on the automation - also it would be logical to include a trade where the entery is only takes on the first or second signal if its close to the actual 5 and 20 ema cross - and when you do place the order try to get in at the close or at the top/bottom of the bar body not actual high/low of the bar - seems to work

So, is the idea to enter at the horizontal line? Lots of false signals? Thanks

Great Thread! Hey, does v8 repaint or is what you see in historical charts what you get? Also, does when "calculate on bar close" is set at false, does the dot and audio flash before close as a warning? Thanks so much guys and gals!!! SS

Hey Everyone! Been using DMPlusv8 with some success and need to know if it works with NT7.4 (newest version) I don't want to make the move to NT7.4 if the indicator doesn't work. Thanks for the indicator! SS

Color Settings

MWinfrey,

Been using DMPLusSignals_v8 and while I was looking for a way to remove the order entry lines by changing their color to transparent I noticed that the "color" setting on the Plots overrides the previous setting. For example if I set the "SU1 Long" color to green and the "SU1 Long color" to red, it will plot the dot on the candle AND the order entry line in red.

The "SU1 Long" is the color for the entry dot and the "SU1 Long color" is the color for the order entry line, correct?

I guess "the code needs to be cleaned up a bit" like you said, am I right?

Thanks

Ok, the "the code needs to be cleaned up a bit" task is done.
I mean the coloring problem I found is solved

Now if you change the color on the "SU1 Long color" (the order entry line) it will not plot the same color on the dot.

The order entry lines and the dots can now plot different colors.

Enjoy.
