I'm trying to import Jeff's three setup into my Strageties, I downloaded indicators before no problem....but this time it will not work and say ...(You have custom NinjaScript files on your pc that have programming errors, These errors must be resolved before you can import a Ninjascript Archive File.. Any help is greatly appreciated.
If that does not solve it, you'll need to provide more information.
Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.
Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? I had just downloaded NT 7 to my laptop...and kept getting the same error as you...after reinstalling 1723 times lol and not fixing the problem...all I had to do was delete the custom indicators that I was using from NT 6.5
Correct, the message can be produced by any indicator which is not coded properly. If you have a look at the NinjaTrader log and trace files, you will find the culprit. So you do not need to delete all custom indicators, but just the one which caused the problem.
Many NT 6.5 indicators are compatible with NT 7.0 and many are not compatible. It really depends on the NinjaScript methods used by the author of the indicators.
