My question is, there is a zip file that has several indicators in it, I have some of the indicatrs already saved in my indicator list. If I download the zip file to get the rest of the indicators I need, will I only download those indicators that I need, or will I download the entire zip file creating duplicates of the indicators that I already have?
Thank You,
Mike

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
(1) Download zipfile to any folder. Then start NinjaTrader and import file via File -> Utilities -> Import NinjaScript. NinjaTrader should ask you whether to overwrite existing indicators or not. After importing this way, the indicators are already compiled and ready to use.
(2) Alternatively you can just download the zipfile and unzip the files with any appropriate utility. You can then copy the indicator files (extension .cs) to the folder -> Own Documents -> Ninjatrader (6.5 or 7) -> bin -> Custom -> Indicator. The files are now in the correct directory and NinjaTrader can access them, but they are not yet compiled. To compile the files, start NinjaTrader, select -> Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator and select any one of the indicators copied to open it. Then just press F5 to compile and NinjaTrader will compile all your newly copied indicators. No need to open them all. Now they are ready for use.
Thanks very much for your speedy response and help. I think I will download entire zip and over write the indicators I have. This seems to be the lesser of the evils.
Thanks very much again,
Mike
