@RJay,

I tried to double click on the orange, in various places and on a few indicators, with no luck. Do you have any other ideas? Thanks for your help.

Has anyone else ever seen this issue? Thanks in advance.

You're not trying to import a NT8 indicator in NT7, or the other way around, are you?

1) Did you visually inspect the folder where the source files are located ?
Do you see any files that are 'zero' bytes ?

2) Did you stop and start NT ?
is it the same problem ?

3) you could move all the indicators to another folder
and then try again with just one
and build it from there, putting back one by one
or a controlled number....

@xplorer,

No. I am using NT7. I was away all last week on vacation and came back to this. I have not imported any indicators for some time. I was not aware of any issues with NinjaScript errors. That is why it is so frustrating.

Is there a way to identify if I tried to import a NT8 indicator? I looked in my latest downloads and I don't see any NT8 indicators. Thanks.

@rleplae,

I visually inspected the folder where all the source files are located. I see no files where there are "zero" bytes. Earlier I shutdown and restarted Ninja a couple of times. The same issue.

Just thinking out loud, could it possibly be a windows 10 auto update issue or .NET Framework issue? I don't see how or why because everything else seems to be working okay.

I am dealing with a serious health issue so no big deal. It is just aggravating not knowing what caused it and how to repair.

Thanks to all who is trying to help. It is very much appreciated.

I have experienced this issue before myself.
In my case it was due to adding source file (ninja scrip indicator files), but the error showed correctly up.

Moving the source files to another directory is a quick test, it can help you rule-out if it comes from one of the files.

This issue is related to the compiler not being able to compile one of the files.

You need to look in the Trace folder files under the NinjaTrader folder in Documents.

@ratfink,

I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to be looking for in this folder. Do you or anyone see anything unusual or out of the ordinary?

Thanks again.

If you open that latest trace file, do you see some error messages ?

@rleplae,

I do see a few errors. So, simply delete those indicators? I do not use the few that show errors. My charts are populating with all the indicators that I use.

What about the NinjaTrader version I'm using where it says "failed to reference....." Do I need to download the previous version?

Thanks again for your time and assistance.
