Ninjatrader external Order Interface Options

I am looking for using an external order interface for Ninja.

One option that I know available is "NTDirect.dll".

Wondering if there are any other alternate options available which are native to Ninja and more efficient?

Thanks

Have a look at the indicator vvMiniTradePanel available here on futures.io (formerly BMT). It uses OIF infrastructure with some undocumented calls to execute orders without the clunky file system interface. May be a starting point.

Check Jigsaw Tools and also 9G Dom.
I don't use Jigsaw but I have heard it is good.

I personally use the 9G and it is all that I need and the creator is quick to make modifications to his system.
9G Trading
(I am not affiliated with either system and receive nothing for giving this information)

DavidHP - Thank you.

I actually own both 9g/jigsaw licenses.

From the order interface point of view - 9G seems to use ninja native way to interface the orders and I am trying to see if there are any examples available for this - how to hook directly into ninja trader process from an external thread (own UI and control the orders.

I haven't had a chance to review vvTradepanel yet - would review and see if this also uses window hook method for order interface.

Thanks

I believe it would be either NTDirect, or you would have to make your own module for that but it's not a trivial task. Depending on your requirements. Not sure how good programmer you are, or if you can hire one.

Perhaps you should check with the creator of 9G. He may give you some insight in the processes.

The easier is to create a strategy which is listening on a specific socket, or in WCF, named pipes, ...
It can then act as a proxy from an external application and will be have all the useful logic (positions, P&L, ...).

DavidHP - Thanks I did check with 9G creator on this as well. Probably being proprietary in nature(for 9g) or a bit complex not much progress made on this angle.
