I was wondering if a knowledgeable programmer could implement a strategy for me?
It is very simple.
We use the 20 ema and 50 ema for trade direction. THIS IS NOT AN EMA CROSS STRATEGY. If the 20 ema is above the 50 ema then only long trades are taken. If the 20 ema is below the 50 ema then only short trades are taken. Trades are then entered WHEN the 8 ema fires a "Jeff Dot" NOT when the bar closes.
From what I understand.....because of ninja limitations a strategy that enters before bar close will not be able to be back tested......this is ok. I just want it to work in real time.
I'd also like to be able to control what time of day the strategy is in operation.
Today this strategy would have had 4 winners and 1 loser.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Thanks for the suggestion, but I have all of those. Must be something else. Do you have any other ideas. That other zip file you sent me didn't work either.
