Hi,

Does anyone know if an indicator has been created on the forum that will provide the price in which a MACD indicator will go from an up reading to a down reading, and vice versa, based on the previous day's/bar's MACD reading?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are several out there. Search for ReverseMACD indicator or ReverseEngineeredMACD on futures.io (formerly BMT) and Ninja Forum.

Cheers!

I haven't been able to find anything under the terms you mentioned on either futures.io (formerly BMT) or Ninja's forum. I also tried other search terms but nothing for NT. I did find an article on traders.com "Reversing MACD" but it doesn't have any code for NinjaTrader.

fwiw I was able to cobble something together using excel's goal seek function. Works like a charm.

You may have to write one, there is a section in the forum where you can approach developers with this project. Or you could have a go. Should be easy enough to pattern match on an existing indicator to build this.
