Hey guys, I'm still new to programming. and I made a simple indicator that when it crosses a Moving Average, it triggers Sell/Buy signals. The problem I'm having is that once it crosses to the other side of the moving Averages, If a BUY signal has been triggered, it stays in BUY mode, and none of the SELL parameters get triggered.
Is there a way to make a conditional statement that says IF (a certain amount of Bars pass by, Cancel BUY signals). and I say Bars cause I plan on using this on Timebased bars as well as Price Based Bars.
So I'm looking to tell the indicator, that after like 5 bars, look for the Closes and if any of them Closed Below the Moving averages, Cancel all BUY signals.
Can someone help me with this.
Thanks
