I came accross BIGMIKE forum by pure coincidence. The good thing is that I watched the video with basic programming and realized that I could do that to.
I used to play around with Visual Basic 6.0 so I know how to handle «*If..else*» «*for X = 1 to 100*» and I can basically understand the parameters needed in a command
Now my real question
there are a lot of commands but someone would help me a lot telling me this*:
1; I want to be able to have following ratio, «*number of pips (up or down) per second*» in a variable
let's say that if the EURJPY jumps up 5 pips Within 3 second, I want to enter «*long*» with one contract.
Which are the «*commands*» I should start having a look at in the (well done) Ninjatrader help section.
Thanks in advance
Ben
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I think your best bet would be to get to know the strategy wizard as you can do quite a bit with that. When you can't get done what you need with the wizard, you will at least have a starting point because the wizard will create the basic form you need, which you can then edit directly The wizard gives you access to most of the commands for execution so it will help you quite a bit. There are videos on the Ninja site on how to use the wizard.
