What I was trying == optimize on _each_ of the possibilities of the 9 MATypes & 3 ModeTypes via the default and genetic optimizers. Maybe I am missing it, I dont see it in the snippet you posted.
Tried a different way, closer to working, but still an error on compile .. NT7b19 ...
Let me know .. error is 'already defined' .. persists on restart of NT

Correct me if I'm reading this wrong but you want to be able to optimize not only period length, multiplier and smoothing period but also all of the MA Type and Super Trend Mode possibilities all at once, right? If so, I don't know if you can do that in NT7 as I'm still on 6.5. I went here instead:

I've created a new Genetic Strategy Optimizer based loosely on Peter's GAOptimizer.
Installation Instructions:
- download the .ZIP file from the download link (above). NOTE: ignore …
. Once you've exposed the parameters like I posted earlier (and it looks like you've done as well), it SHOULD give you the option to tick off all the options you want. There was an issue with it for 6.5, so I wasn't able to use it, but I believe it works for 7.
Please let me know if I'm way off here. That's always a possibility
