While waiting for NinjaTrader to natively support wicks in Renko bars (and I won't be surprised if this never happens) I converted good old SbSRenko to NT7 + I added previously converted MedianRenko to the zip file for ease of installing (import those files just as you would do with any indicator).
Both files attached below.
On the side note: both SbSRenko and MedianRenko suffer from the same long wicks problem on the beginning of the sessions - I would welcome any assistance in solving this once and for all.

Ok, I have given the correct renko implementation to Ninja several times, but for some reason they refuse to fix it after they broke it in B7. I have resisted giving them any more help since they do not really appreciate it.
However, I have gotten so much out of futures.io (formerly BMT), I decided I needed to provide this implementation here.
Attached is a renko implemenation that maintains the correct wicks/volume. Originally, I had hoped that Ninja would make it the default RenkoBarType, but instead I am providing it here as WickedRenkoBarType.
It should coexist with SbsRenko and MedianRenko and NT Renko. The implementation also allows CandleSticks or OpenClose bar types to be used, but maintains the wick data reguardless of how it is displayed.
To use this, just import the zip file, compile some indicator, and restart Ninja to get the code loaded.

In the Ninja forum, there was a version from B6 that mostly worked, but was not hardened. When the Ninja guys tried to harden it, they completely neglected the wick data and broke the code base. The version I posted here, adds the hardening, and fixes a bug that was causing some of the bars to have the wrong volume.
It should also be noted, that Roonius did a lot of the original Renko work, and deserves a lot of thanks.
