"Diparity Index" Smoothing Ideas Requested

My only coding is swapping in types of MovingAverages to change the shape of those squiggly lines on the charts. I have looked at the "Disparity Index" and it seems to be a nice piece of work to use on range bars, and I wonder if anyone can suggest further smoothing code to take out the wrinkles, or possibly (ideally) havea way modification to put it on the first panel with the price chart ((The Disparity Index indicator was published in the December 2009 S&C article authored by Dan Valcu titled "Making The Most Of A Trend With The Disparity Index")) :

I've been looking into smoothing indicators as well, recently, without making them lag.

This article attached I found insightful, but can't recall where I got it from. Hopefully you will find it useful.
