Use of "Switch" as strategy discovery method

I would like the webinar on NT programming to focus on the posibilities of "switch" to combine diferent posibilities (indicators, rules, parameters,...) on entries and exits for posible strategies. Is a kind of strategy discovery methodology.

Could you build a complete example covering typycal entries and exits and the combinations among them in a way that we can use to discover new robust and efiecient strategies?

It would be nice to see an example of programing alerts with text color and sound in the Market Analyzer.

NinjaTrader View Post
Hi everyone,

My name is Josh Peng and I am the Product Manager of NinjaTrader. I am really excited about getting another opportunity here on futures.io (formerly BMT) to discuss NinjaScript. Thanks Mike!

The feedback here about the things you guys want to see is great. Here is what I am thinking. Several people have asked about risk management and backtesting so I would like to put together a webinar covering some of those topics. They are closely related and would tie in nicely together. I want to put together a webinar for you guys discussing the process in which you can take your NinjaScript strategy and how you can analyze it and make improvements to it for better results.

Topics to discuss:
- Techniques for risk management in your NinjaScript strategy
- How to backtest effectively and translate results into actionable changes for your strategy

I know there are a lot of other topics out there people are interested in too. Hopefully we can tackle them in another webinar in the future. Hope to see you all on Saturday 22nd!

Thanks Josh, sounds good. I am sure there will be additional requests at the time of the presentation as well

I believe the last futures.io (formerly BMT) webinar Josh did covered some IOrder techniques, and you can also find some third party work here:
