Indicator Based Upon Other Indicator Colors

I have a third-party, protected indicator that plots two lines that are each either one of two colors - red or green.

Is it possible to write an indicator that will plot a marker when the line colors change from different to same and vice-verse?

I want to include a color change event sound.

If this is possible, can someone provide an example or other source that explains how to write it?

What I mean't to say was use the strategy wizard and see if you can access the plots from there.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.

The question is here whether the third party indicator exposes any values in a way that they can be accessed by another indicator.

To find out, which values are exposed, you would need to use the editor, type the name of the indicator followed by a dot and find out which are the properties that can be accessed. Or you could ask the author of the indicator.

The defined properties can then be accessed.

It resides in My Documents\NinjaTrader 7 \Templates\Indicator. It is an xml file that I can open with Wordpad, so I assume it's not protected as I thought.

This is just an indicator template, that will not help you.

That's the only instance of the indicator name that I could find in the Ninja Trader 7 folders under either the My Documents or Program Files.

I can see the two line plot names in the data box. When searching for those names I found them in a dll file in My Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom. I have several indicators from one vendor. Can they all be in that one dll file?

Please forgive my ignorance about this. I am not at all familiar with NT7 indicator programming structure or language.

Or...you could just go to the strategy wizard and see if you can access the plots from there. Just a suggestion.

I will have to familiarize myself with the strategy wizard to determine if they're accessible. Thanks.
