Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:

  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

Futures Edge on FIO
If you are interested the ergodic oscillator plots a histogram showing the difference between values of the TSI study plots.Once the TSI suggets entering or exiting a position at points of cross overs of the 2 plots , look for the the ergodic osc. zero values to identify these cross overs. I have used this osc. on the TOS platform.

Thanks for sharing. Just wanted to point out that you said in your video that the ergodic system does well in trending markets, but the article you posted elsewhere says the opposite. Most oscillators do well in range bound markets, and do terrible during strong trends. Maybe it depends on how you trade it.

Quoting
Oscillators are ineffective on trending markets, as the market can be in an overbought/oversold conditions for an arbitrarily long period.
