If question is how, answer is much more complicated. Especially if you are not a proficient programmer already. Most popular method would probably be using XML to post the data back to a url.
If you are trying to post to a vbulletin forum like futures.io (formerly BMT), it is much more complicated, because you have thread numbers, user id/password authentication, cookies, and other things to maintain in order to be able to post. You also have to do error checking to make sure the post was accepted.
If you are a php programmer, you could write your server backend to just accept an xml post from ninjatrader and do what you want pretty easily.
Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.
Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? Thanks for the "heads up," BM. I guess I will have some learning to do. I am not a proficient programmer. When I come upon something I want to be able to do, I then figure out what has to be done to accomplish it. Looks like I will have a lot to learn for this one.
Sorry to bump such an old thread but I have the same question and I don't want it in a strategy. I use the chart trader / dom to trade and everytime I trade I want to POST it somewhere. I asked NT support and they said there was no "documented" way. If I know the hook to use, I can do the rest.
