Perhaps I didn't explain fully. Obviously, I can only enter after the signal bar, but I want to enter at the LOW (for shorts) or HIGH (for longs) of the bar PRIOR to the signal bar.
Say the price is declining and the signal bar is sensed, and the low the bar PRIOR to the signal bar was 1350.50. I want to go short at 1350.50, even though the signal bar may now be lower than 1350.50 (I'm trying to get short on a slight retracement).
Conversely, if price is rising and the signal bar is is sensed, and the high of the bar PRIOR to the signal bar was at 1350.00, I want to go long at 1350.00, even though the signal bar may now be higher than 1350.00 (I'm trying to get long on a slight retracement).
See chart attached with notation. Hopefully the picture with notation will clarify what I'm attempting to do.
As always, I thank you for your comments and help.
After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
