I am new to starting with multicharts ,i want to trade mini es, Dow Jones, etc index future in IB, but ib data is not enough, I need more than 5 years of history data, Can you recommend a good and cheaper data feed provider?thank you

For third party providers, I hear that eSignal is good.

I used IB for multicharts, only 2 years can down load, litter short for backtest. thank you ~let me try esignal .

EoD Data is what I use. They provide data going back 20 years (maybe more?), in a variety of formats. The data can be loaded and used by Multicharts though depending upon what data you need (daily, tick, with or without financials, etc) you may need to do some massaging of the data. https://eoddata.com/download.aspx

Anyway EoD is who I use when I want to go crazy on the research.

I do not use multicharts, but if they allow CQG or Rithmic...they are your best options for futures historical data.
