Hello everyone, as the title suggests I am a discretionary trader and I use the Multicharts platform. Lately I would like to try to test live a strategy that I had written. With different financial instruments of course. I know that for automatic trading there is no "paper trading" mode of the program, you can only perform the backtest (if I'm not mistaken). I operate with Amp Future with CQG datafeed, how can I continue to operate as I always do and together test the live strategy with a small account? CQG does not seem to allow you to trade manually and with trading system with the same account. I read on the web that it is necessary to open a second account (subaccount). Can anyone help me understand how to operate in this way that I don't know?

You can setup a paper trading account to test automated trading in MultiCharts. See link below. All you need is a live market data. I think you then need to map the symbol to the paper trading account.
