Hi guys, I've tried to find answers on the internet but no luck. Hopefully you guys can help. Apologies if these have been answered before.

1) I have installed MultiCharts on my desktop and another laptop. I developed and executed an automated strategy on my laptop earlier today. I've come home to my desktop and I see no sign of that automated strategy in MultiCharts. I assumed it would be visible on my desktop version but it's not. Am I missing something? The question is, shouldn't the system work across my account rather than across a particular version I've installed on a particular computer?

2) I use Rithmic datafeed (AMP is broker) so I can have a max daily loss of $X for my own discretionary trading. The maximum single trade loss is less than $X but the draw down on my automated strategy is greater than $X. If the automated system is in a trade and I'm about to exceed $X, I assume Rithmic will auto-close the trade, is that correct?

Secondly, any idea if the system will re-commence executing the strategy the following day when I get my buying power back? Or, do I have to disengage the daily max loss so the automated system doesn't encounter any problems?

3) Overnight margin is $12,000 for ES as we all know. For the sake of argument, if I was in a trade for 1 contract but due to a losing trade on the day my equity didn't cover the margin, firstly, I assume AMP/Rithmic will close out my trade, correct?

Secondly, when the next day's session begins, will the automated system wait until the next trigger or will it auto-execute / re-open the position as soon as the next session starts?

I'm sure some of the answers might be "it depends what you tell it to do". I'm still learning about automated programming on MultiCharts so assume I haven't messed with any standard settings as of yet.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

So for anyone interested, I've managed to get some answers finally.

1. The automated strategy is active on one computer only. You have to leave your computer running constantly. Any changes you make to the system have to be done on the computer you set it up on.

2. It will close out the trade and you manually have to reactivate it.

3. It will close out the trade and you manually have to reactivate it.

Hi
I have one question, maybe it's a pretty stupid question. I would like to know why is it so.
I have an AOS that executes 3 orders at market price when signal occur. The fill is between
1@ 10:12:00:896
2@ 10:12:01:032 136ms between 1 and 2
3@ 10:12:01:169 273ms between 1 and 3
if the orders are sent at once, why are there such time differences
I have opened one 3 min chart 700 bars with AOS. and than 2 more 3 min charts with 10 bars only no indicators
Server is located in HK Equinix DC1 has 2 CPU Intel Xeon E5-2697A v4 @ 2.60GHz and 8GB RAM.how could i improve it, increasing CPU. What can be done with it

8GB of RAM is not much. Try increasing
