IQFeed pricing. If you subscribe via a link on a software vendors site (like Multicharts) you might save a bit on the base fees. Other than that they forward the exchange fees.

Hi All -
I am looking for a data provider other than IB to import equity data for minute charts into Multicharts. Right now I use IB but as you know their are limitations on data so I cannot run anything more than 5 or 10 charts. I have tried Tradestation which is fast but I still find some speed issues during market hours. TS is fast after market hours. Are their any data providers that you can recommend that are both fast and reasonably priced to use with MC?
My trading involves identifying an opportunity during the day and throwing it into MC and need to be able to download stock minute data as fast as possible so I can turn Autotrade for my script on.

Thanks

@msbullpen,

Just stumbled upon your post, feel free to PM your email address or email me at [email protected] and I'll be happy to provide details and a 14-day trial.

Hey guys,

I'm just starting with MultiCharts - or better: im starting with looking into DayTrading
I decided to start with MultiChart because of the .NET capability.

Now I'm trying to import some data using ASCII-Map but I cannot see anything on the chart. Reason might be obvious for more experienced people... Here my settings and a sample that I've generated with Tickstory:

Any idea what went wrong? (Sry for the format: I'm not yet allowed to post links)

"https://imageshack.com/i/fkasjcp"
"https://imageshack.com/i/nd1wlqp"
"https://imageshack.com/i/mwlo0op"

Beside that I have opened a demo account at fxcm. In their tool "FXCM Trading Station" I get the data but in Multicharts I cannot even select a symbol. Login is ok and I can also see open positions, balance ...
Is that normal or what could be the reason for this?

Is the only way to get minute data by paying for esignal or ... or is there a way beside ascii import to get that data into MultiCharts for free? (Only to play with the data - not for live trading)

Thx a lot!!!
