Hi all I am trying to make a continuous S&P future contract for a a daily chart in multicharts. It seems pretty straight forward in terms of making a custom instrument and and then using that instrument to make a daily chart. However, I cant seem to get it to load data more than a few months old. Im not sure what I am missing. Has anyone else had this issue?

uspilotzzz,

can you chart the individual contracts and see the data? If not, it could simply be due to your data provider limiting the amount of data you can load. This might be related to your case:

That was it, I don't get the expired contracts from CQG like I thought I did, thanks.

I tried to do this also, I was told at the time, by AMP Clearing that MultiCharts was unable to support the continuous contract.
