Economic calendar backtesting

Hi guys,

does anyone know if and how is it possible to use an economic calendar in a Power Language code, basically for two things:

1) back testing to undertand through which macro data will be better to stop autorading in the future

2) (in the future) stop trading during those macro data

for the backtest you would have to have a list with all the dates and times of the events that you want to test, so that your code can access this. Not sure if something ready exists, but if you don't find it, you can of course create one yourself.

For the future you should be able to use this, to stop systems shortly before events:
