i want to define 3 variables: vHigh, vLow and vOpen.
vHigh = Maximum of varA or maximum of varB or varC.
vLow= Minimum of varA or minimum of varB or varC.
vOpen = nz(vOpen[1],vClose) + smooth*(vClose-nz(vOpen[1],vClose))

/// nz(x,y) = x if is not invalid otherwise return y. here nz is a function like we have IIF in afl. please suggest a function like that in easy language.

any help is welcome. thanks.

milkysahai001,

you might be able to use MaxList and MinList for the maximums and minimums. Take a look at the "IFF" function in Multicharts. If this doesn't work for you, you can likely write a function yourself that behaves exactly like the IIF in Amibroker.

ABCTG,

I found the IFF function after posting and got it done. Don't know about the maxlist/ minlist though. thanks for telling.
