Sure, it all depends of your broker/data feed.

I played around with multicharts yesterday and I can confirm that it is way better then ninjatrader (clunky, unpolished?)

Don't look on macd and rsi indicators and others, they have effect of delay and so on, find other things for trade
Use NT as platform and trade

Thanks for your helpful comments. I am a swing trader and wondering what indicators or methods are not lagged? Chart patterns? Could you give some details? Thanks again in advance!

This thread is about comparing NinjaTrader and MultiCharts. Your question is off-topic. Before you ask a question, please use the SEARCH feature on the upper right corner, and you will mostly find out that it has already been answered.

All indicators rely on past price and volume information and are therefore lagging. Oscillators and momentum indicators are even lagging more as they filter out noise.

The only indicators that maybe considered as non-lagging are those plotting support and resistance levels, which are plotted prior to price hitting them. This includes pivots, trendlines and trend channels.

what i don't like in multicharts is that same instruments from different datafeeds have their own database...

I have no thought of this that way but you can actually plot anything prior to price and consider it a non-lagging indicator, like an extrapolation of price through a curve-it or neural network. All indicators are computed or plotted on hindsight.

I use mutlicharts and I was thinking of moving to ninjatrader but I start realizing that converting all my strategies to ninjatrader will take me a long time. Any solution that could be mechanical?
