Hello everyone,

Although quite a few people said NT is not as good as MC in terms of backtesting and auto trading, and I believe they have a point, I see NT is still usable, at least to me. I am trying both MC and MC.NET and see which one would be my alternative to NT, not because NT is bad, but I want to be better, and I don't feel like relying my trading on one single platform.

Still marking around, one thing is, MC's documentation is very poor, compared with NT. And their forum, quiet as a ghost town. Below was my post there two days ago. It needed a moderator to check it before being posted. And so far no reply yet. I hope fellows at futures.io (formerly BMT) could be more helpful. Anyway, here is the post.

Hi fellow traders,

I just started using the trial version of MC.NET, so forgive me if this is a stupid question.

Setup Brokerage connect and Datafeed. When I load a chart, I can only see a few days worth of data. Through Format Instruments -> Settings, I tried "# days back" and "From To", didn't solve it. Also the strategy reports show the same period of trades generated as what appears on the chart. Datafeed used is Rithmic01; Contract is FDAX 03-15.

Thanks in advance.

Any input would be appreciated.
