Hi there. I'm looking to move away from Tradestation. My first choice is Multicharts because of its similarities to TS and the reviews I've read.
I currently have an unfunded account with AMP Futures, but I'm having trouble getting CQG connection to stay up (at all). The only other feed they offer has no historical data. I'm trying to wrap my head around not having that, but anyway.
I see the futures.io (formerly BMT) is having trouble with AMP Futures so I am happy to find another broker. Does anyone have a recommendations (or can you point me to a thread that discusses this) for a broker/feed? I'm in Australia. I'd like competitive margins. I trade futures (e-minis). The one good thing about AMP is it is exceptionally easy to open an account and it doesn't need to be funded straight away. Having something similar would be great.
Thanks for your suggestions!
Kelly
Thanks!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
do you just want the broker for the feed? If you are looking for the data I would suggest taking a look at IQFeed, you can even get a special offer as futures.io (formerly BMT) Elite member. For other brokers here is a list of supported ones Supported Brokers. I don't know if any offers unfounded accounts, but you can check the reviews about the brokers here on futures.io (formerly BMT).
We would be more than happy to assist you. We mainly work with the Rithmic data feed that you are more than welcome to test on our site for 30 days.
Matt
Trading futures and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results. the error points towards the study needing a larger array size. The easiest way is trying to make the arrays larger until the error stops popping up. If they need to be too large it could be a different reason like wrong symbol settings in Quotemanager for example.
