excel access in multi charts - elsystem

Has anyone been accessing spreadsheets from within a study or signal?

I have been using these collections in TS to import data from excel in to studies and strategies. I am new to multicharts and am enjoying working with it. Does anyone know if MC has any Excel integration like elsystem?

using elsystem.office.excel ;
using elsystem.collections ;
using elsystem ;

For example with using elsystem.office.excel I can easily get data from a spreadsheet first by;

setting up the object

WB1 = new Workbook ;
WB1.FileName = WorkbookName ;
WB1.Shared = true ;
WB1.Visible = true ;
WB1.Load = true ;
WB1.SaveOnClose = false ;

Then by populating an array

strArray[1] = WB1.sheets[SheetName].CellsAsString[1, counter] ; // get date-time

I know enough to use elsystem but not how it works to port this to multicharts.

Thank you - Westsider
