Can I make trades from the chart on MC like I do on NT?
I really like NT. I have never used MC. NT requires a subscription to use its chart trader function (i.e. trading from the chart via a mouse click). I am under the impression that MC also has this function, but unlike NT I do not have to pay for a subscription to use this function per my brokerage who offers both platforms. What do you think of MC? And is it true I can place orders using the chart much the same way I can with NT?
You can use chart trading on MC easily.
Just click on buy/sell market or drag a stop/limit order onto the chart and than manage them moving them up or down to the price you wish.
You can also use the built in exit strategies, even if you already are on a trade.
Yes, this is all available in the free version.
Just install it and test it.

I found it much easier to setup trade management with MC than ninja.
When I use chart trader with ninja, the name of the template would change to "active strategy " and sometimes confuse me. Also, I wondered if I had the correct "stop strategy" .
With MC, All of the target , stop, trailing and master strategies are clearly separated I know exactly which ones are in play.
I prefer MC chart trading capabilities over Ninja. It seems much simpler to me.
Organizing workspaces is way better.
I now use ninja for testing strategies only , and MC for live trading on personal account.
I have also found MC .net to be much more stable than ninja.
Ninja froze regularly.
