Don't know how it is now, but time ago it was very poor and useless, but it was also free if i recall right.

Given that there is a fee now, hopefully it is more useful. Maybe I can find-out if i can get a free trial to see if it merits $25. Thanks for the follow-up.

I don't want to take us too off course, but it seems that TPO and Market Profile are used interchangeably as they are one in the same. After doing some reading, that is the impression I'm left with...

Mike (or others) - In your opinion, what are the drawbacks with an add-on solution? I'm certainly not going to spend 130 to 200 bucks a month at this stage (paper-trading).

Looks like TOS has made some in-roads here (Monkey Bars, Volume Profile and TPO):

I'd prefer to have this on MC, but if TOS can do the trick, I can just fire-up the Mac for this data...

Thank you Mike.

I am reading a book now about trading the emini's, and the author is big on Mkt Profile, and from the examples provided, I see why. So, I'd like to incorporate it into my paper-trading, ideally not at an added expense. I think TOS has MP, which I already have, and if so, maybe I can leverage that...

Through OEC, one can get MarketDelta's Footprint chart for $25/month. Not sure how that compares to other MD offerings, but I'll check into it.

Investor RT, I've heard of, and will check that out also. The homework list continues to grow...

Finalg's offering fo NT is pretty damn good too. There is a charge but it is one off and fairly modest.

I suppose I should consider using NT in addition to MC; but I'd prefer to avoid multiple apps open at one time... If TOS is worthwhile, that could be on a separate computer at least.

Tony,
for an easy display of MP you could use this code, maybe you need to increase the array size.
MultiCharts: Trading Software for Automated Trading and [AUTOLINK]Backtesting[/AUTOLINK] • View topic - [AUTOLINK]TPO[/AUTOLINK] aka Market Profile

Thank you insideday.

If you use MP in your trading, is it strictly this solution?

I have MCDT, the free version. I don't believe I can do coding, as you explain. If wrong, I'd like to know... Thanks again.

wow MC 7 is really promising .. i'm gonna love it .. for manual and auto trading.. it is far advance from metatrader and jforex.

anyone know how to buy stop/sell stop order with multiple position at same price for manual entry?

it is no problem for limit order.

thanks in advance.

after play around few days .. MC 7 still lacking of entry strategy .. in this case NT ATM still far better ..

for example .. can't multiple position with manual entry with same price but with different volume.

The exit strategy is useful with exit master strategy but there is no such as entry master strategy.

Does MCDT have a way for us to export our daily activity? If not, how do you all make this happen?

Thank you kami. I did vote, but wouldn't this be more of what I was talking about?
