I have troubles changing the font and colours of either Chart Trader pointers and DOM too.

As for changing the DOM rows ... see the attached picture.

Petr

Thank you Petr. It is not so obvious. Should be able to drag the window larger like a normal app, imo.

I'm having trouble with the DOM not remembering my preference to auto-apply my exit strategy. Anyone else experiencing this?

Another thing. The DOM is quite slow to update. Example: The PnL can stay the same while the last changes two or three ticks, before finally updating. I have a 4ghz quad core, I want it updating every tick preferably, but PnL should at least update every Last change.

Yes this is exactly what I noticed, but I use IB TWS and the platform itself is not tick-precise either and I think the DOM just displays the info from TWS. What do you think?

It is the same. Just enter and session begin and end time. If you don't want to exclude lunch, then all the times other than start time will be the same. You can also use 0000 to 2359 if your chart was built with the session template you want already.

Mike

Thank you very much Mike!

To: NW27 - I agree with your PS about discontinuing NT. MC7 is the best now.

That's right, it was built this way for the following reason - some traders may forget they applied an exit strategy, and when the place an order all these other orders start appearing. We want to hear your opinion, and of other traders, - should this setting be saved?

If you find them please come back and let us know.

Mike

They are not built-in, you have to import them yourself if you want to use them.

Anyone figure out how to change the font on the DOM in MC7? It's terrible. And to make the dom taller/more rows? I can't find it anywhere. I don't want "text size", I want more rows.

Mike

We used a standard system font. What do you find terrible about the font? We can introduce all standard Windows fonts, do you think that's necessary?

Mike

We've changed it, so now you can drag it by those little lines, as well as like a regular window. Thanks for the suggestion!

We are checking into this issue now. There is a nuance with IB - it does not send PnL through the API, so what we do is calculate it ourselves on every incoming tick. It might be a little slow, but not two ticks behind. We will see what we can do about speeding it up for beta2.
