The problem about Matlab & MultiCharts

hello:

I have wroten a simple function called indicator Dfa in Matlab .

for example: result = Dfa(timeseries) ,

I want to use the indicator Dfa on MultiCharts

how to interfacing Maltab with MultiCharts?

I used MCR (MATLAB Compiler Runtime) generate Dfa.dll.

DefineDLLFunc: "D:\FILES\Dfa.dll", float, "Dfa";

inputs:

Price(Close),
Length( 200 );

variables:

var1( 0 ),

var1 = Dfa(Price, Length) ;

------ Compiled with error(s): ------
Invalid number of parameters. 0 parameter(s) expected

ps:EasyLanguage and Custom DLLs — I have read this articel,but may not understand fully.

How to write codes in PowerLanguage?

thanks.

What were you looking for when you read the article?

Read your error message: Invalid number of parameters

Go to the manual and look up the number of parameters required. Problem solved.

Thank you for your replies.

Syntax on the book:
DefineDLLFunc: “DLLNAME.DLL”, Return Type, “FunctionName”,
Parameters ;

According to the definition:“Parameters is the list of parameters expected by the function."

Only price timeseries in Dfa function.How should I do ?

The dfa is not suitable for MultiCharts.

I thought you said you wrote the DLL? You should know.
