I'm brand new to this forum so I apologize if I post incorrectly.
I have an issue with MBtrading and Multicharts. I format my instrument to see 5 decimal places (.00001) for FOREX. It shows the 5th decimal as a zero like any other platform, but the price still moves in full pip increments (.0001) while never utilizing the 5th decimal at all.
Any tips? I've covered every menu in the entire platform and googled this to high-heaven. The best Multichart answers seem to come up in this forum so now that I have Multicharts I'll be more active here.
Thank you.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Hm, that's weird since you normally should see the fractional pips with the setting set to 5 decimals. The only thing I can think off is: where have you changed this? For example, if you change the Exchange settings to 5 decimals but don't set the symbol to use these exchange settings, this might explain this difference.
The only thing you can do is go over all your settings (again ).
Anyway, these are my MB Trading settings for EUR/USD:
While formatting the symbol I had the custom settings very similar to yours, but when I went to look at the Exchange's format, it was set on 10,000 instead of 100,000.
