Is anyone here using MC with a free data provider such as Google or Yahoo Finance?
I’m really liking MCDT, namely a workspace that I created that helps me with my stock and option trading. I’m currently with OEC as I had the intent to paper trade futures in the evening, but I’m not making the time with two babies in the house. That’s fine. I’ll look to resume my future education at a later time…
With that, there is no need now to have the OEC futures account and the futures data. I’d like to move those futures funds into an equity account. With the aforementioned workspace, I simply view daily, EOD data of a few indexes and select ETF’s. I realize that I can keep my OEC equity account and data feed, and most likely will, but I’m curious how the free data providers have been working-out for MC users… And, has one (Google, Yahoo! or MSN) been more dependable or desirable? Thank you.
Also, how soon after market close is the data available for charting?
