@MultiCharts, (or others)

I'm using the MC DT DOM this morning due to some problems with the NT dom (can't place orders with my broker), and I really like using it so far. However, how can I get the instrument format to display correctly for CL? (XX.XX, not X,XXX)

Also while I'm at it:

1) Is it possible to change any of the colors? The dark gray background in the price column makes it a little hard to see the numbers..

2) When I left click above the market to place a stop order, it appears as "STL" .. sounds like this is stop limit, and when I choose a stop limit it appears with the same code: STL... even when I require order confirmation to ensure it's placing a "Stop Market," it still shows this. Is there something I'm missing or is this a bug?

Hi Josh,

The customization of colors in DOM option is currently being made. It'll be available in MC 7.1 that we plan to release within the next 2 weeks. Check out our PM to see what's coming.

Thanks MC--can you address the other two questions?

Also: I just placed a live trade (first one using MC DT), and I noticed that when my stop loss order was filled, it was very slow to update the PnL button at the bottom to return to "FLAT" .. is this normal? I verified with my broker that I was indeed flat and the order was filled at the expected price, but it's a little disconcerting!

If it's TT, they don't support Stop Market order types. Stop Markets that you send are auto-converted into Stop Limits.

Using Velocity (TT). Had no idea, thanks... I'm not saying I doubt you on this, but I have always had an immediate fill on stop market orders without needing another transaction to fill me.

I wasn't addressing the lag, just the order type. As for the lag, go to our Live Chat so they can look at it. It depends on the updates we receive from the broker, and on how we calculate the PnL.

Thanks MC --

Just FYI, something's wrong with the TT interface apparently, because it's miscalculating my entry position. On the attached chart you can see that my short appears to be near the bottom, when in fact it was near the top, and it's miscalculating the P/L as a result. Scared the bejeebus out of me
