Go to File - New - Order and Position tracker, and look at the log. What are the error messages?

It says rejected. Now I have one order on EURUSD it says submitted. however there is no indication of the trade on the chart. Besides, I placed a trade @ 1.4439 and it show 1.44...

Strange.

Any ideas?

FYI

MultiCharts 7 supports the following versions of MBTrading Desktop Software (latest ones at the time of our release)

MbtDesktopPRO

Release Candidate
Version 2.0.0.50 - 18.7MB
Updated: 7/20/2011

MB Trading - MBT Desktop Pro (you will download a file called MbtDesktopPro_2.0.0.50_11.8.0.38_20110720_release.exe)

MbtDesktop

Current Release
Version 11.8.0.38 - 9.1MB
Updated: 7/15/2011

MB Trading - MBT Desktop (you will download a file called MbtDesktop_11.8.0.38_20110715_release.exe).

These are the latest versions of MBT software that you can have on your machine in order to have it work with MC7 out of the box.

Good to know.

I resolved the issue with the introduction of the orders with the GTC option. I thought it should/could work on the day (GMT open-close). However, It works with the GTC option.

I wonder, is there anyway to leave this option as the default option as well as the contract size (either in thousands/lots)?

Also, where can I find programmers on power language?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I am a scalper/daytrader.

How do I set a disaster stop in MCDT in case the internet/power goes out?

I would like to set it once so I dont to do it again every time I enter a new trade.

You can configure a template to auto-attach a stop loss order to new positions. Just right-click on the template in the DOM, and hit "auto attach".

I am hoping future versions of @MultiCharts will allow us to set auto-attach as default. I've requested it, and I think it is important. More than a few times I've loaded a new DOM and forgot to hit the stupid button, then put orders in the market with no stops.

Not sure, if I was forced to guess I would say MC 7.1 which is due end of year.
