Easy to view multiple charts by going through tabs.
Easy to set up different templates for different strategies.
4) Do you use MetaTrader in simulation mode only, or do you place live trades with it?

5) Are you a discretionary trader or an algorithmic trader? How does MetaTrader help you with this?
Discretionary trader with reasonably rigid rules. However traders can place automated trades using Expert Advisors.
6) How easy/hard was it for you to learn to use MetaTrader?
Very easy.
7) How do you rate MetaTrader's customer service/support, assuming you have needed to use it?
Never needed it. Extremely robust software.
8) Do you believe MetaTrader is competitively priced?
Free - so awesome value.
9) How do you rate the community support that exists for MetaTrader?
Excellent. There are a lot of free indicators and Expert Advisors that enhance the use of the platform.

- 3 years
2) What are your favorite features of MetaTrader?
- hugh support in the web and the software allows you so much control on anything, that there are no limits but always solutions for your requirements.
- You have little worry with the order sync Metatrader <==> Orderserver , Your SL lie´s at the orderserver of the broker . If the web brakes down, the electricity fails , your children switch off your homeserver ...the SL is there and protects you from desaster .
- Lots of buildt in solutions for storing data , very helpfull if you wish to run data analisis outside of Metatrader (ie profitability analisis in excel returning information back to Metatrader for improved settings and lots of other things one could imagine)

- trade my own algo´s

- the start was difficult to me, selfstudy, now I am writing code as I talk , include from the beginning various pieces of code anticipating future debugging
7) How do you rate MetaTrader's customer service/support, assuming you have needed to use it?
- there is none . Or the broker might help you or you need contacts in the web, such as futures.io (formerly BMT) and other , friendly asking usually is getting replied very very quick in a quality forum
8) Do you believe MetaTrader is competitively priced?
- no cost, might be a mistake :-) , I did spend lots of money on software until I understood the power of MT4 fully, could not believe that powerfull & robust software is available w/o cost
9) How do you rate the community support that exists for MetaTrader?
- great for me

PS.: Did you know, that you can work offline with MT4 installed on an USB on any PC ? => Each time when we visit people and I am in "listen only mode"(i e sister-in-law ) I search for a PC and start working . Try that with AB or MC ....
