Like most people it seems, I've been convinced by big Mike's webinar that re-starting a public trading journal could help me improve my trading. I'm currently on the fence, however as most of my problems revolve around failing to faithfully implement my trading strategy, I'm willing to give it a go.
My strategy is mainly based on Brooks' price action. It's simple, and I like it, seems logical (at least to me).
If you have any questions, I'd be delighted to answer, the only feedback I have currently is the market :P
Strategy:
Exclusively 5m candlestick chart for ES, during the first 2-2.5 hours of the market. I leave as soon as a trading range (TR) forms.
Entries: Stop entries, after bar close, with trend (unless climax). Usually on pullbacks (sometimes in spikes)
Profit taking limit orders, usually around 2 points. Currently have no riders.
Exits: Stops start out at maximum equidistant to profit target, usually price action stops, can be tightened, not widened.
I'll be grading myself on execution of my strategy. As well as a rotating roster of 'problem areas'
July 18 to August 1: - Entering on stops after bar close, no moving stops intra-bar -3 trades max / day
