Causality is the relationship between an event (the cause) and a second event (the effect), where the second event is a consequence of the first.

There is one product to connect Matlab with easy language:
Trading System Solutions - Software - Matlab & TradeStation Solutions - TradeStation MATLAB Link Dll

From matlab to SPSS and vice versa:
StatTransfer.com | The Easiest Way to Move Data Between Worksheets, Databases & Statistical Packages.

I've not used both, so can't comment as to how effective they are...

BTW, what exactly would you like to do? And why SPSS when you have matlab?

SPSS I use at university for stocastic process,
Mathlab is great for genetic program that write them self code, or for neural networks, or very complex model that i not have idea how to write in easylanguage.

There will be that someone in tradestation or multicharts with a phd or grat skill in math and programming so this job of conversion in easylanguage, because I don't see no one model in easylanguage, while in math lab or spss is full and free.
