You need to be more specific as to exactly what you are trying to accomplish in Matlab. And also I think most Matlab code, if it is placing orders (ie "trading") will be broker dependent based on the broker API, so you need to specify who your broker is.

If you are just looking for analysis, then that's fine just need to clarify what type of analysis.

1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.

Ideally I am looking for a carry and momentum strategies which will execute through CQG. I want the analysis of the G10 currencies for carry and momentum I am not interested for API. I would like to understand who can I analyze a basket of currencies in Matlab in order to create strategies. I have very basic knowledge on Matlab and for this reason I am seeking a sample of carry and momentum strategies.

Thanks

You might see if CQG @yshterk has put together any example code for CQG customers.

We have sample API code that allows one to link CQG IC API with Matlab and send the data into Matlab and get trade sygnals out of Matlab. We dont have any matlab sample strategies.

Have you tried contacting Mathworks directly? I am sure they have some samples to help you get going.

Ernest Chan in one of his books on algo trading has stuff on currencies. And it is in Matlab. You can try to check it out for examples and demo code.
