Remove scientific notation

Does anybody know how to remove scientific notation from the y-axis?
Here's what I've got so far:

yData = 10000*(str2num(get(gca, 'YTickLabel')));
set(gca, 'YTickLabel', yData );
ActionPostCallBack (postzoomfcn);
which works, but after zooming it does not work anymore.
Using the ActionPostCallBack function should sort out the problem, but I am unsure as to how to use it correctly.
It contains:

function postzoomfcn
yData = (get(gca, 'YTick'));
set(gca, 'YTickLabel', yData );
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
